Keeping Pets Home Application

 Person(s) applying must be 60+ years of age or older, a veteran, or on disability. Dogs and cats needing assistance must be 7 years of age or older. Person(s) applying must be on a fixed/limited income, proof will be required. All applications must be approved by Lionel’s Legacy before services are rendered. Support is provided solely based on available funding. We do not provide emergency funding, requests may take up to 5-7 business days. Requests can be made annually and may not exceed $500 per family annually. We may make exceptions on a case by case basis.

$500 towards surgeries, hospitalizations, or advanced diagnostics(can not be applied at the Free To Chew Clinic)

$300 for annual vetting, exams, lab work, xrays, necessary medications (can not be applied at the Free To Chew Clinic)

* Funding does not cover dentals, food, vaccines, microchips, or alternative medications such as Librela, cytopoint, etc. or medications that owners are unable to maintain long term or have an alternative/affordable treatment option.
