Sweet Emmeline was one of this year’s OBGs (Oldies But Goodies) pulled from the OC Animal Care shelter prior to the 4th of July. Poor little Emmeline had been hit by a car and suffered multiple pelvic fractures. On top of that, she had a large mammary mass. Our plan had been to wait for her bones to heal before removing the mass, but it had a mind of its own and started growing. She recently underwent surgery to remove that mass, and is still on crate rest for her healing bones. She is feeling much better, though, and starting to show her spunky nature. She is tiny in size but mighty in spirit!
